Hi! My name is Layla. I was born and raised in Colorado and graduated high school in 2024 before heading to college in Steamboat Springs. While there, I began working at the Routt County Humane Society and quickly realized that, although college wasn’t the right fit at the time, I had found a real passion for working with animals. After moving back home, I joined the team at NOCO Humane, where I continued building my skills and deepened my understanding of animal behavior and care.

I live with my family and our lively crew of pets, including my cat, Chicken, my dog, Misty, three other dogs, another cat, and a bird! I’ve spent my life surrounded by animals and truly treat them like family. When I’m not at home watching movies with my pets, I enjoy staying active—hiking, walking, or lifting at the gym. I also dream of opening my own bakery one day, so I’m always working on improving my baking skills while continuing to support and care for animals. I’m excited to be part of Fur-Enzy and look forward to helping pets stay happy, healthy, and active!
